Since 1998, the Dragon Boat races have been a biennial tradition, except for a pandemic pause. The event was born from a visit to China by Hal Smith, a former executive director of Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Arch Baltimore 7 weeks agoJoin Saint Leo’s Catholic Church in celebrating the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis & Pier Giorgio Frassati, September 6th, 2025, 5pm. There will be a Vigil Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Music, Food from ‘Plating Grace’ Food Truck and more.
