Arch Boston 4 weeks agoSt. Damien Veuster took Jesus’s call to serve the poor so seriously that he moved to Hawaii and lived in a leper colony. He ministered to the poor and the sick, loving them deeply. After eleven years, Damien contracted leprosy and died a “martyr of charity”.
