Arch Galveston-Houston a week agoMonday, December 8 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary – a holy day of obligation. Catholics are required to attend Mass that day.
Since the 2nd Sunday of Advent takes precedence over Marian solemnities, all Masses this Sunday will follow the 2nd Sunday of Advent prayers and readings.
