Arch Galveston-Houston 6 weeks agoAccording to the U.S. bishops’ guidelines, when a solemnity falls on a Saturday, the obligation to attend Mass is lifted. That means this year, since All Saints’ Day falls on Saturday, Nov. 1, attending Mass is encouraged—but not required.

Arch Galveston-Houston 6 weeks agoOn Nov. 1, the Solemnity of All Saints, St. Anthony of Padua in The Woodlands will open the doors of Our Lady of the Angels Chapel to a public veneration at one of the largest reliquaries in the Archdiocese, with 180 relics, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
