A LA pilgrim’s-eye-view from the Jubilee of Youth

For a bus of young LA Catholics, a two-week pilgrimage through Italy for the Jubilee of Youth was a ‘celebration of the unthinkable.’

Today we remember Saint Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Conventual Franciscan, who was born in 1894 and canonized in 1982. His martyrdom took place in Auschwitz during World War II.
