Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoArchbishop José H. Gomez got to meet and bless members of his favorite soccer team, the Monterrey Rayados yesterday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels! Tonight they’ll be playing in the FIFA Club World Cup at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoGreat to have a visit from my hometown football club, the Monterrey Rayados! We talked sports and faith at the Cathedral and paid a special visit to the chapel where we have a relic from the miraculous tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe. They are playing tonight at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Go Rayados!

Gomez led faithful through the streets of #Altadena which was ravaged by the #EatonFire in January of this year.

Arch Los Angeles 2 months agoOver 3,000 #EucharisticPilgrims gathered for a “hopeful” celebration at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Sunday for the closing Mass of the #NationalEucharisticRevival.
