Arch Los Angeles a week agoToday, we remember Saint Joseph Calanz. Born in Spain, he moved to Rome in 1592, where he was deeply moved by the plight of neglected and homeless children. He founded the Order of the Pious Schools (Piarists) in 1602, with the mission of educating poor children.
