Just in: Bishop Jeffrey Haines spoke to the media about our new Holy Father during a Thursday news conference at the Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center in St. Francis.

Fr. Zachary Galante, a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee who is studying in Rome, sent these pictures from St. Peter’s Square on Wednesday evening. 30,000 people gathered during the day to be present as the College of Cardinals gathered to elect the next successor to St. Peter as Pope.
