Archbishop Aymond will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for Pope Leo XIV at 12 noon Friday, May 9 at St. Louis Cathedral. All are invited to attend. The Mass will be broadcast live on WLAE-TV and live streamed at TheDailyMass.com
Pope Leo XIV addressed the crowds in St. Peter’s Square in Latin, Spanish, and Italian but not in his native English focusing on the universality of our Catholic Church. His first words: “Peace be with you all!”

Pope Leo XIV is the former Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, age 69, is the first US born Pope in the history of the Catholic Church. He was elected in 2 days and four votes as the 267th Successor of St. Peter
