Today begins the official nine days of mourning for Pope Francis. Join the U.S. bishops in a novena for him and his soul.
Pope Francis’ funeral was held in St. Peter’s Square this morning. Following the Mass, Pope Francis’ wooden coffin was taken to the Papal Basilica of St. Mary Major in a procession through the streets of Rome.
