Dio Manchester a week agoWe sadly share that Sr. Pauline Labrie, CSC, (Sr. Mary Albert of the Savior) has passed into eternal life. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1961 and dedicated her life to service as an educator and bookkeeper.

Dio Manchester 2 weeks agoThe Good Shepherd Ecumenical Food Pantry in Woodsville provides meals to eligible clients who are welcome to receive food two times per month. A Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund grant of $5,000 was provided to help purchase new stainless steel commercial refrigeration for their food pantry.

Dio Manchester 2 weeks agoWith sadness, we share the passing of Sister Monique (formerly Sister M. Augustine) Therriault, a Sister of Mercy for 72 years. She was 90 years old.
Sr. Monique was a dedicated educator, serving as a first grade teacher at Catholic schools throughout the state. She was also an avid volunteer in the Berlin and Gorham communities.

Dio Manchester 2 weeks agoOn this day in 1980, Bishop O’Neil received his episcopal consecration as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield and Titular Bishop of Bencenna. Both appointments were made by Pope John Paul II.
He would later be installed as the Bishop of Manchester on Nov. 30, 1990, and entered into eternal life seven years later on the same day, Nov. 30, 1997.
