Dio Portland in Maine 2 months agoThe Parish of the Holy Savior extends a special invitation to the River Valley community to attend its annual Community Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day.
The meal will be shared starting at noon in the parish hall, located in the basement of St. Athanasius & St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue in Rumford.

Having contributed greatly as a member of the Hispanic Ministry team since 2015, Sister Elsa will now guide the expanding Hispanic Catholic community across Maine.

Dio Portland in Maine 2 months agoSt. Christopher’s Church, 15 Central Avenue on Peaks Island, will host “From Around the World: The Art of the Nativity,” a display of parishioners’ crèches on Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, December 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (following Mass). Children’s craft activities and refreshments will be available.
