Dio Portland 3 months agoToday, we celebrate the feast day of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. Mother Cabrini was the founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In 1889, Pope Leo XIII sent her and her religious sisters to New York City to attend to the many Italian immigrants suffering from poverty.
