Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate a Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Pope Francis on Wednesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland. All are invited to attend the Mass to pray that the eternal rest be grant unto Pope Francis and that the perpetual light shine upon him.

The intention for April is, “For the Use of New Technologies — Let us pray that the use of the new technologies will not replace human relationships, will respect the dignity of the person, and will help us face the crises of our times.”
