Less than 24 hours after the announcement of the 267th pope, Pope Leo XIV, more than 200 people gathered at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Richmond, to celebrate the new pontiff.

The Pastoral Center will close early today in observance of Memorial Day weekend. Offices will close at 2 p.m. today and reopen on Tuesday, May 28, at 8:30 a.m.
We wish all a safe and blessed holiday weekend as we honor the service members who have died while serving our country!
Our seminarians are home for the summer and will soon be heading to their parish assignments beginning this weekend.
