Diocesan Work Camp 2025 was a success! While braving the summer heat, our volunteers made a difference in southwest Virginia and completed more than 30 projects at their work sites spread out between Bristol, Abingdon, and Damascus.

Today is the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul.
St. Peter was the leader of the apostles and was one of the witnesses of the Transfiguration of Jesus. St. Paul was a pharisee before his conversion to Christianity and began spreading the message of Jesus. Sts. Peter and Paul were martyred in Rome around 64 A.D.
On the final day of #ReligiousFreedomWeek, we pray for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria, who are currently suffering from violent religious conflict in their country. May they be granted safety and religious freedom to live out their faith.
