The funds were granted from the Torraco Food Bank/Shelter Fund set up by member Ralph Torraco in an effort to assist those in need of food and shelter. With the motto of “Service Above Self”, the endowment was established so families… Read more

The eight members of the Diaconate Class of 2025 extend a warm invitation for all of the faithful to join them for their Ordination Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Scranton.
The Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Dio Scranton 2 days agoFather Brian Van Fossen, pastor of Saint Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Hunlock Creek, was invited by State Senator Lisa Baker to be the guest chaplain to the Pennsylvania State Senate today.
Father Van Fossen also serves as Dean of the Kingston Deanery and Chaplain of the Nanticoke Fire Department.

Two of our seminarians (Roberto Carlos Acevedo Ruiz and Nicholas Wasko) currently attending Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary recently greeted Father Edward Michelini and Father James Nash on campus in Weston, MA.
