For the first time ever, Jefferson County will have transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness.
Thanks to a partnership between the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Catholic Charities St. Louis, Sacred Heart Parish, and JCCU – Jefferson County Coalition for the Unhoused, plans are moving forward with housing for up to 20 people, including women with children.
Each resident will receive services tailored to help them stabilize their lives. This model has already helped many families thrive in other counties!
Now, it’s Jefferson County’s turn.It takes a village, and thanks to a $585,000 grant from the Affordable Housing Task Force of the Annual Catholic Appeal, this project is now made possible.
