On Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m. papal theologian Fr. Wojciech Giertych will visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland and give a special lecture on the Eucharist in the chapel. Light refreshments will follow in the Cathedral Residence.
Fr. Giertych has served as Theologian of the Papal Household since 2005 during the pontificates of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis and currently lives in the Vatican. He specializes in moral theology and virtue theology.
Fr. Giertych will also concelebrate Mass with Bishop Ruggieri at the cathedral on Monday, August 18 at 12:15 PM.
