Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a significant Holy Day in the liturgical calendar. This feast not only honors Mary’s assumption into heaven but also holds a special place in the hearts of all who belong to our local Church. Under her title of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Patroness of our Diocese of Fall River.
