• The Diocese of Shreveport has Partnered with Red Bird Ministries to Provide an Evening of Mercy for Families of Suicide Loss.

If you have lost a child or loved one to suicide, we see you. We care about you and your broken heart. We want to help you carry your grief to Jesus as you struggle with suffering, anger, or doubt.

The Great Divide: An Evening of Mercy for Families of Suicide Loss will be held on Wednesday, August 27th from 7:30 pm – 9 pm CT in anticipation of Suicide Prevention Month in September.

This virtual event will be led by Sr. Kathryn Maney, founder of the Remember program, and Director of Family Support Elizabeth Leon. The evening will include prayer, reflection, testimonies by families of suicide loss, and a time of remembrance for our lost loved ones.

This is a free event, but registration is required. You can register at http://www.redbird.love

You don’t have to grieve alone. Come draw strength and comfort from a flock of other Catholic families who know the unique pain of suicide loss. We welcome you, just as you are.
