• After its summer hiatus, Christ Our Hope has returned to The Catholic Virginian!

In his first column back, Bishop Knestout reflects on tomorrow’s celebration of World Day of Care for Creation. He reminds us that our concern for creation goes beyond preventing overflowing landfills and using up natural resources because of the impact the environment has on social, economic, and human elements.

He writes, “There is, I hope, a desire by human beings to care for the created order around us in a way that leads to facility of life. In its simplest form, it means leaving the environment in better condition than we found it.”
