While still celebrating the excitement of their recent wedding, St. Thomas Aquinas parishioners, Stephen and Kathleen DeCelle, received another unexpected excitement – getting a personal blessing of their marriage from Pope Leo in Rome!
After ending their honeymoon cruise in Rome, the couple received the general newlywed blessing alongside a group of other couples in St. Peter’s Square. What the DeCelles were not expecting was to receive a personal blessing from Pope Leo afterwards and meet with him briefly.
