Please join in praying for the repose of the soul of Father Philip Michael Tracy, a priest of the Diocese of Portland who died on September 1 at the age of 94. Father Tracy was a native of Portland who served in active ministry in Maine for more than three decades, including at parishes in Houlton, Saco, Portland, Presque Isle, Lyman, Calais, Sabattus, and South Berwick and as a chaplain at Bates College in Lewiston. He also served as director of the Apostolate to the Catholic Deaf Catholics of Maine, and in his later years, he served Spanish-speaking Catholics in Maine.
