Today, we remember Saint Peter Claver. He was born in Catalonia in 1581 and entered the Jesuit novitiate at 20 years old. He was ordained in 1616 and dedicated himself in service to the slaves of Colombia. He lived a life dedicated to the dignity of every human being.
