On the eve of his ordination and installation, Bishop Simon Peter prayed Solemn Vespers at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales.
We welcomed Bishop Jerome Feudjio from the Diocese of St Thomas USVI and Father Joseph Palermo from St. Francis Xavier Church in Metairie.
Our Bishop publicly made his Profession of Faith and Oath of Fidelity. His episcopal insignia–the miter, crozier and ring–were blessed by Bishop Jerome.
