Bishop Francis Malone welcomed a special guest to the Catholic Center this morning! We had the pleasure of hosting Loyola College Prep’s new mascot, Flyer, for a meet-and-greet.
Flyer is more than a symbol of school spirit, he is in training to be a certified therapy pet who will bring joy, comfort, and some fun to the Loyola community.
“Loyola has always been unique in having Snoopy, the Red Baron, as our mascot, and now we’re the only high school in the country to have a live Beagle mascot to match,” said Dr. Laurie Salvail, Principal of Loyola College Prep. “Flyer is adorable, spirited, and already loved by our students. He represents what makes our school special tradition, joy, and Flyer pride.”
We can’t wait to share more smiles with Flyer throughout the school year!
