St. Luke is the patron saint of artists, physicians, and brewers – just to name a few. A major accomplishment of St. Luke was his authoring of major portions of the New Testament, a two-volume work comprising the third Gospel and Acts of the Apostles. His Gospel was probably written between 70 and 85 A.D.
During his life, St. Luke researched and interviewed many people who had known Jesus. We also know Jesus, especially through the receiving of the Eucharist. Sustain that relationship with Christ as he did and come to Mass this week.
Saint Luke, pray for us!
