On November 2, we celebrate All Souls’ Day, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. On this day, we pray for the souls of those who have died and are still in purgatory, being prepared for eternal life in heaven. Several parishes have Masses or services planned today or in upcoming days to pray for deceased loved ones and for all souls in purgatory.
