Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate Mass on World Day of the Poor, Sunday, November 16, at 9 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 72 Federal Street in Portland. Very Reverend Seamus Griesbach, Pastor of the Portland and Peninsula & Island Parishes, will concelebrate.
Following Mass will be the special dedication of a new Homeless Jesus sculpture in the grotto courtyard. Sculptor Timothy Schmalz will join and speak via Zoom. A brunch will follow in the Monsignor DiMingo Hall.
