This weekend, if possible, all are welcome to support our brothers and sisters who struggle with the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter.
Parishes in our Diocese— and across the United States — will take up the annual collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). CCHD is the U.S. bishops’ national anti-poverty program, working to end the cycle of poverty by empowering communities and promoting lasting change.
As #PopeLeoXIV reflects in this year’s #WorldDayOfThePoor message, observed on Nov. 16: “The poor can be witnesses to a strong and steadfast hope, precisely because they embody it in the midst of uncertainty, poverty, instability and marginalization.”
Donations makes a real difference! Of each donation, 25% stays within the Diocese of Camden to support local initiatives, while 75% aids anti-poverty efforts nationwide.
