Mother Mary was the “talk of the town” at this year’s Advent By Candlelight at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Bangor. Attendees enjoyed a beautiful two-part presentation by guest speaker, Monét Souza, a nationally known Catholic speaker and founder of A Message of Hope. Monét’s talk encouraged everyone to “lean into the motherness of Mary” and let her into our daily life and struggles. Our humble mother Mary is a strong and powerful advocate for all of us, and will point you straight to her son, Jesus. “Do not underestimate the power of praying the Rosary,” Monét told everyone. “Pray it as often and as sincerely as you can, and Mary will be by your side, always.”
