In celebration of the upcoming Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8), the Portland Peninsula & Island Parishes invite people to create artwork in any medium that is based on the Mary, the Immaculate Conception, the patroness of our diocese. People of all ages, artistic abilities, and backgrounds are invited to participate. Art submissions can be dropped off at the pastoral office at 307 Congress Street starting December 1 and will be displayed in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception’s millennial entrance beginning on December 7.
