First a disciple of St. John the Baptist, St. Andrew heard John preach that Jesus was the “Lamb of God.” Later on, St. Andrew and his brother Simon were called by Jesus to be part of His 12 Apostles.
It’s believed that St. Andrew preached the Gospel in what is now Greece and Turkey.
