With more than 1,100 tickets sold, Matt Maher and Sarah Kroger kicked off their 11-city Cathedrals: An Advent Night of Worship Tour in a big way in Nashville on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Church.

“We’re here in Sagrado Corazón, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and in that Sacred Heart, we find much love and much care for each of us,” said Bishop J. Mark Spalding of Nashville, at the start of the concert. “We’re going to hear of that in so many ways in the music that we celebrate tonight. […] Take these songs in and just give thanks to God for the gift of faith, the gift that you have of life and the gift that we’re preparing for in this Advent season of Jesus Himself to come — come into mind, into heart, and into our homes.”
