Today at Mass for the Solemnity of the Immacukate Conception at the The National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Archbishop Aymond reminded us, “Mary carried Jesus in her womb; we just carry him in our hearts,” not just during this Advent season but always. While we are not like Mary, untouched by the stain of Original Sin, we can be like her if we follow her example of following Jesus, being close to him, and saying yes to God’s will for us even in difficult times.
Mary Immaculate, pray for us that we may follow your example!
