The peaceful and joyous music of the Advent and Christmas seasons filled the Cathedral of the Incarnation on the first night of the annual “A Song in the Night: A Cathedral Choir Christmas” concert on Monday, Dec. 8. There is a second concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Cathedral.
“It is a true joy to see so many gathered this evening. This is a wonderful event that we try to make sure we have every year. I thank God for the gift of those who are here, the musicians and the choir performing for you tonight,” said Bishop Spalding at the start of the concert. “We take the gifts that God has given us and we lift them up in thanksgiving and praise to Him. Tonight, we enter into that in a wonderful way.”
