Bishop Juan Miguel Betancourt, SEMV, visited Saint Benedict of Nursia, Wallingford Parish this evening to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, by offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at Most Holy Trinity Church. Fathers Andrés Mendoza and Colin Lane concelebrated, and Deacons Jose Robles and John Esterheld assisted.
Parishioners enacted Mexican dancing in tribute to the cultural heritage of Our Lady of Guadalupe prior to the beginning of Mass and after the final blessing. A reception followed in the church hall.
