How a Little Bit of Time and $25 Makes a Difference This Season
Recently, several offices of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee participated in an Advent outreach activity. Each group was given $25 with the instruction to “pay it forward.” Through these offerings, God’s message of love and kindness brightly accompanied each gift or task.
Treats were delivered to senior priests and other residents at Clement Manor, Inc. Food, hats, gloves, and socks were given to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at the Basilica of St. Josaphat. Essentials were offered to the unhoused outside of the Milwaukee Public Library with messages of God’s love (street ministry). Gift baskets were created for new mothers at Life’s Connection Waukesha. And food sorting tasks were accomplished at the pantry at Bethany Outreach Ministry Center inside Mother of Perpetual Help West Allis.
