At the Serra Club’s annual Vocations in Progress (VIP) Dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 16, hundreds gathered at the Catholic Pastoral Center in Nashville to celebrate the thriving culture of vocations in the Diocese of Nashville. Hosted by the five Serra Clubs of the diocese, the evening celebrated the seminarians of the diocese and the novices of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation.
“Here in Nashville, we have Catholics that are devoted and committed to their faith, and you are signs and symbols of that,” Bishop Spalding said. “Your generosity, first in prayer, your generosity in presence, and your generosity also in giving from how God has blessed you, I thank you for that. […] May God bless us in our good work.”
