Despite statistics showing that the U.S. Catholic Church is struggling, studies show that the percentage of Hispanic/Latino Catholics in America continues to grow.
The diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministries is now working to ensure the Hispanic/Latino faithful are represented in ministry at every level of the Church.
More than 80 Hispanic/Latino ministry leaders recently met in Richmond to discuss ways to implement the USCCB’s National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic/Latino Ministry in our diocese.
