Charlottesville Catholic School became the first Project ADAM Heart Safe School in Charlottesville this past weekend!
The school was awarded a certificate and banner on Friday, April 11, by the Medical Director of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, deeming them as a Heart Safe School. CCS school nurse, Suzanne Queheillalt, has been working on obtaining this designation for the school since the start of the academic year.
With two automated external defibrillators, the school has implemented an official Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP), with hopes to fund a third automated external defibrillator.
