Bishop Schlert was scheduled to celebrate Mass scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Easton and dedicate a statue and relic of Carlo Acutis. Acutis, who died at the age of 15 in 2006, was to be canonized this Sunday as the first millennial saint. The Easton parish’s liturgy, and the canonization Mass in Rome have been postponed due to his Holiness Pope Francis’ death.
