Pope Francis’ body is now at St. Peter’s Basilica to lie in state until funeral on Saturday morning.
Viewing at the Basilica will be open until midnight tonight, from 7 AM to midnight on Thursday, and from 7 AM to 7 PM on Friday.
Cardinal Camerlengo Kevin Farrell will preside over the rite of the sealing of Pope Francis’ coffin on Friday, April 25, at 8 PM.
The Funeral Mass for Pope Francis will be held in St. Peter’s Square on Saturday, April 26, at 10 AM, presided by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals. These times are all Rome time, which is six hours ahead of us here in the diocese.
Continue to pray for the repose of the soul of our Holy Father with the rest of the world as we say together throughout the day Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be.
