Several students from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Mobile certainly had a special day on Thursday. They participated in the annual Catholic Challenge Cup, while taking a brief break to watch yesterday’s historic announcement of Pope Leo XIV!
The Catholic Challenge Cup is similar to a Scholars’ Bowl, but all centered on the Catholic faith. Congratulations to St. Ignatius Catholic School, the Tournament of Champions winner, along all who participated.
Awards were also handed to schools which won specific Cup categories.
Winners included:
Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School (Bible, Prayer)
St. Pius X (Liturgy)
Corpus Christi Catholic School (Church History, Life in Christ)
St. Ignatius Catholic School (Saints)
St. Dominic Catholic School (Sacraments)
