Happy Mother’s Day! Join us for the May Crowning Celebration with Archbishop Grob and Fr. Tim Kitzke!
Spend the afternoon with the Blessed Mother. Bring lawn chairs, Mom and your family to the Crowning of Our Lady’s Statue by First Communicants at the Archdiocesan Marian Shrine, 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 11.
This year’s event will include:
● Crowning of Our Lady’s Statue by a First Communicant
● Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
● Eucharistic rosary procession through the streets with hymns
● Reflection by Archbishop Grob
● Benediction of the Blessed SacramentAll First Communicants are encouraged to wear their First Communion attire and will participate in the procession. Each First Communicant will receive a rosary blessed by Archbishop Grob.
The Archdiocesan Marian Shrine is located off of Bluemound Road at 141 N 68th St, Milwaukee, WI. This is an outdoor event, please bring a lawn chair to sit on. In case of rain, go to St. Vincent Pallotti – West at 201 N. 76th St.
