• “We want to be transformed by our minds, not be conformed to the world.” That was the message of Amber Ezeani, the keynote speaker at the 12th Maine Catholic Women’s Conference, held Saturday, May 17. The conference, which was attended by nearly 200 women, also featured adoration, small group faith sharing, and a closing Mass celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Robert Deeley, who urged the women to connect with God through prayer, saying: “Our God leads us through the dark places in our world by walking right beside us.” Read more about this year’s conference: https://portlanddiocese.org/news/maine-catholic-womens-conference-2025
