Blessings for the Big Top!
Recently, Archbishop Grob was in Baraboo, WI, attending the annual meeting of the USCCB’s Circus and Traveling Show Ministry. He presided at a Mass for the priests, nuns, and deacons from all over the country who minister to traveling shows. He also blessed the circus performers, many of whom had never seen a bishop, let alone met one, and were thrilled by his visit. The fact that he grew up near Baraboo and had attended Circus World performances when he was a child added to the connection.
Archbishop Grob is a member of the USCCB’s Subcommittee on the Pastoral Care of Migrants, Refugees, and Travelers. The committee group is pictured here as well.
