Feeling the call to serve his whole life, Paul Collins tried a couple different routes — missionary work, pursuing a degree in psychology — but ultimately decided to pursue the priesthood with the goal of becoming a Navy chaplain, explaining: “There’s a lot of need for God in [military] environments.”
