🕊️ Tomorrow, on May 30, we honor St. Dymphna, the patron saint of mental health, whose feast day calls us to compassionate care and understanding.
In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the focus on mental health continues through the Mental Health Ministry plan, launched in 2021. This initiative has trained nearly 1,000 individuals in Mental Health First Aid, empowering parishioners to support one another with compassion and understanding.
As we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, let us remember that mental illness is just another category of illness. By speaking openly and supporting each other, we can reduce stigma and foster a community of care.
